Occasional training at GC-heat
Youth development is part of our corporate philosophy! For us, the training of young professionals and executives is a key factor with which the skills shortage and the challenges of a demographic shift can be sustainably addressed.
This is why a high-quality and practice-oriented vocational training is a central pillar of the GC-heat-HR strategy and therefore an important part of the corporate strategy.
Our goal is to develop technical skills within the own company and to permanently retain young performers within the company through highly attractive offers. Through this, both a sustained organic growth as well as a targeted knowledge transfer between generations can be ensured within the company.
Trainees at GC-heat can expect to be trained in all necessary company areas and that they will gain comprehensive insights into the entire GC-heat-world. Fundamentally, the vocational school days are work-free to ensure that the trainees can use the time to study. We also provide expert knowledge through internal training and educational events that are conducted in cooperation with experts in the respective work field.
Through this, trainees are provided with the optimal setting for their future - self-determined, comprehensive and with the best possible mentoring that we as an experienced company are able to offer. Therefore, it is no coincidence that GC-heat received several awards in recent years for its involvement in the training, from both the Chamber of Commerce as well as from the Federal Employment Agency.
Our goal with each trainee is to train the professionals of tomorrow in our own ranks and to subsequently transfer that trainee into our permanent staff. Of course for this, there are many important factors, such as the course of the training, the completion as well as number of open job positions.
Currently around 16 apprentices are trained by us in one of the seven formal training occupations listed here.

Such a broad range of different requirements is a challenge that we will gladly meet head-on again and again. Each one of the occupations gives the trainees exciting insights into the vibrant life of a business enterprise and opens up individual perspectives for a successful professional future at the end of the training.

We are looking for clever, independent, reliable trainees who are performing at a high level.
To prevail in the selection process requires a mixture of personality, authenticity, commitment as well as technical and general knowledge.
In the first step, the quality of the application documents, the expected degree of education and the grades, any absences, extracurricular activities and possibly initial job experience are decisive factors for the inclusion into our multi-level selection process. This is usually followed by an aptitude test, which allows us to make us a first impression of you. Then depending on the profession, this is followed by one or two job interviews and/or an Assessment Centre.
If you managed to take these first steps, your chances for an apprenticeship with GC-heat are very high.
